Cris Dopher is an accomplished lighting and scenic designer, with credits in Missouri, New Jersey, and New York. His design work includes musicals for Tent Theatre of Springfield, MO, productions for several private schools and universities in NY and NJ, and off-off-Broadway productions. As an assistant, he has worked with LD Howell Binkley on the New York productions of The Full Monty and Batboy, LD Chad McArver for the American Place Theatre, and LD Diane Fairchild at the Jiulliard School.

Among Mr. Dopher's most recent designs are Pericles, As You Like It, The Old Maid and The Thief, The Chrysalids, several dance concerts, and the award-winning staged readings series "New Works" at the Provincetown Playhouse.

In addition to design, Mr. Dopher recently served as the theatre manager and technical director for the Department of Music at NYU, where he also taught Stagecraft and Lighting Design. His own education includes bachelor's degrees in education and a Master of Fine Arts from Tisch School of the Arts Department of Design for Stage and Film.
